If you are, or are related to a Stuczynski / Stuczynska, here’s the place to tell us where you are and who you are related to! {Use comments section below.}
Contact information is optional, but give us an idea where you are now (state/province) and where your family came from, as well as parents’ and/or grandparents’ names.
Here is my example:
=================================
I am Kenneth Jerome Stuczynski, and live in Buffalo, NY USA with my wife Merry and have one daughter, Christina.
I am the son of Jerome Walter (Jerry) and Audrey Stuczynski (mother deceased, father currently in Utah USA). Jerome was raised in Dunkirk, NY USA as the only son of Walter (Warren) Stucyznski and Sophie (Szopinski), and grandson of Julian & Bernice Stuczynski, who came from Poland around 1900.
Julian & Bernice’s other children: Mary, Joe, Celia, Anna, Bernice, Virginia, and Walter, all raised in Dunkirk, NY USA, but all moved or deceased now.
Hi, my name is Marguerite and I live outside of Chicago. My Grandpa Czajka’s mother was Marian (also spelled MaryAnna) Stuczynski. She was the daughter of Franciszek Stuczynski and Zuzanna Chrzanowska. I will post more when I get a chance – I’m hoping to find some links to other Stuczynskis!
I heard I have distant cousins there. I’m not sure if they moved there from Dunkirk, or moved there from Poland as a separate group … I’ll have to ask around here.
Here’s the other info on my line:Pawel (1844-1908) and Zuzanna (1859-1926) emigrated to the U.S. through Pennsylvania around 1890. According to death certificates, they were from the Russian/Polish town of Plock. By 1894, they were in the Chicago suburb of Lemont, where Pawel became a citizen. Zuzanna had a relative (possibly a brother) named Frank here in the states.Pawel (Paul) and Zuzanna (Susan)’s kids:Marian Susan 1882-1947Joseph John 1885-1972Frank Stanley 1887-1962John 1894-1894Aniela (Angeline) 1895-1915Joseph and Mary M. Just a quick question/clarificaion. I know that Dorothy Szopinski’s obituary states her mother as Helen, but it also states somewhere in your site that Stanley’s brother, Walter, and Dorothy were buried next to each other.(I think I got that right!!) 🙂 Is this the same Dorothy?!?!? I don’t have my genealogy papers with me right now, so I’m just going by memory (what little I have!!)!!! If I’m totally off, then forgive me!!! Thanks again!!!!
Richard and Lynn Stuczynski are my grandparents and live in Sheridan/Fredonia. They owned a grocery store that my father Mark Stuczynski took over with my mother Sue. Richard (Dick) and Lynn had another son Correy that is married with three kids and lived in North Carolina. They also had a daughter Tami who married Joe Neitupski and moved to Arizona with their one daughter. My father has 3 children, myself 24, my sister Terra 29, and my brother 18. and that’s our story!
Dorothy Polowy has a tombstone adjacent to Walter & Sophia Stuczynski. Walter is on the left, and further left is the stone for Dorothy.
My name is Theresa Johnsen. My grandparents were Ed and Irene Stuczynski. His parents were Karol (Karl) Stuczynski and Mary (Nowaczyk). I believe he came here in 1910 from Poland, but I’m not sure where. My email is gpcom [dot] net]tjohnsen [at] gpcom [dot] net. Thanks
Thanks, Teresa. Feel free to post any other details of your family tree. You and I may not have known connections, but other people who do may find you here. 🙂
